Solar Rooftop (PV) by Surya Urja

Mono & polycrystalline panels

Solar Rooftop (PV)

Grid-tie and off-grid photovoltaic systems for homes, businesses and industry — sized from a single home to a factory roof.

  • Residential 1 kW – 10 kW
  • Commercial 10 kW – 500 kW
  • Type Mono / Poly
Solar Rooftop (PV)

Overview

A rooftop solar photovoltaic system turns sunlight into electricity right where you use it — cutting your dependence on the grid and shrinking your monthly bill. Surya Urja designs, supplies and installs grid-tied, hybrid and off-grid PV systems sized from a single-phase home connection to a megawatt-scale factory roof.

Every system is engineered for Indian conditions: high-efficiency mono PERC modules, IP-rated string or micro-inverters, and hot-dip galvanised mounting built to ride out monsoon winds and peak-summer heat. Grid-tied systems support net metering, so the surplus you export in the daytime spins your meter backwards.

Highlights

Why it stands out

The engineering details that make the Solar Rooftop (PV) a dependable, long-term choice.

01

Grid-tie, hybrid or off-grid

Net-metered grid-tie for the fastest payback, hybrid with battery for power-cut backup, or fully off-grid where the grid does not reach.

02

Mono PERC & polycrystalline

High-efficiency monocrystalline PERC modules for tight roofs; cost-effective polycrystalline where space is generous.

03

Net-metering ready

Export surplus daytime generation to the grid and draw it back after dark — your bi-directional meter does the accounting.

04

Subsidy & DISCOM support

Eligible homes can claim the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana rooftop subsidy. We handle the application and DISCOM liaison.

05

Built for the roof

Galvanised or aluminium mounting rated for high wind and corrosion — safe on coastal, industrial and high-rise sites.

06

Monitor from your phone

Wi-Fi inverter monitoring shows daily yield, lifetime savings and fault alerts on a simple app.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How much roof area do I need?

Roughly 80–100 sq ft of shadow-free roof per kW. A typical 3 kW home system needs about 250–300 sq ft.

Will it work during a power cut?

A standard grid-tie system shuts off during outages for lineman safety. Choose a hybrid system with battery backup to keep essential loads running.

What about the government subsidy?

Residential rooftop is eligible under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. We assess your eligibility, file the application and coordinate with your DISCOM.

How long does it last and what maintenance is needed?

Modules are built for 25+ years; inverters typically 8–12. Maintenance is minimal — periodic cleaning and an annual health check.
